SMART is an acronym for Specific, Measurable, Attainable (or Achievable), Realistic and Time-bound. Setting a SMART goal is simple: you aim for a long term goal that completes within a specified period of time (such as 2 years from today), has a measurable outcome, makes sense for you to achieve (it’s realistic), you know it’s doable, it’s not pie-in-the-sky.
While SMART goals are fantastic and help to define your goals they do not provide the complete picture. That’s where the Goal Coding Technology™ comes in. The Goal Coding Technology™ (GCT™) is different from SMART goals.
